Practice of STEAM education through manufacturing in virtual environment
Research Outline:STEAM education is a new learning framework that goes beyond science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, and not only learns cross-sectionally and exploring, but also implements the process of finding and solving problems. In this research, we aim at STEAM-ize of learning by making things through the creation of 3DCG model in virtual environment.

Thinking by linking manufacturing in the virtual environment to the real world

Production activities using the concepts of Science and Technology
Development and evaluation of VR learning materials in peace education
Research Outline :Focusing on the issues in peace education and the need for learning content for the next generation of children, we developed an immersive VR system for tangible peace education. This system allows the learner to reproduce the cityscape of Nagasaki before the bombing in a virtual environment by installing a model of the building on the table. In addition, the learner can explore the virtual environment while wearing the HMD and operating the moving controller.
