Research activities

 Reconfigurable computer architecture
We are developing reconfigurable computers whose logical structure can be flexibly tailored to each application. Making the best use of programmable devices such as FPGAs, we aim to establish high-performance and energy-efficient computing platforms and their programming methodology.

 Applications of reconfigurable computing
We are also interested in applying reconfigurable computing to various application domains. Algorithms and architectures are optimized together for each system such as real-time image processing, cryptosystems, energy conversion, and medical robots.
