Research activities

High-dimensional data science and its applications
Mathematical models can describe the intrinsic features and properties of high-dimensional data and have the power to efficiently retrieve information. I have been engaged in basic research on mathematical modeling, designing optimization algorithms, and applying them to images, sounds, biomedical signals, etc.
Bridging mathematical modeling and deep learning
Mathematical models are the crystallization of scientific knowledge. This project aims to establish a novel data science scheme to exploit mathematical modeling and data assimilation techniques for interpretable and sophisticated artificial intelligence.
